Our candidates are the most important part of our business; therefore when we shortlist we are as thorough as possible. We believe in added value at every stage and therefore follow quite a structured approach. This not only includes ensuring that the candidate is well informed and has all the details for the role (specification, location, full company details etc), but also building a relationship with the candidate, meeting them face to face where possible and understanding exactly what they are looking for, and why they are looking for work. We also understand how important complying to legislation and guidelines is, so we gather and keep a copy of proof of identity, and eligibility to work in the UK.


Communication is absolutely key and we ensure that we maintain a high level of contact throughout the recruitment process, providing comprehensive feedback and generally making sure our candidates are happy. Before interview we fully brief our candidates, making sure they are prepared for the meeting, and know where to go. We also maintain this level of communication after the interview.

If our candidates are offered a role we make sure that they have all the information required, and then we assist them in handing in their notice. Aftercare is something that is often overlooked in recruitment, and we ensure at Launch IT that this is not the case. We stay in regular contact with both parties and make sure that the placement is a success.
